FREE online course "Using Edu. Technology in EL Classes" April 16, 2018

This FREE 5-week MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is designed to prepare English language teachers to integrate technology into their English language teaching. Participants will become aware of free technological tools, learn how to use these tools for language learning and teaching, and evaluate the appropriateness of a technology tool for their specific contexts.

This course is provided by Iowa State University, as part of the American English (AE) E-Teacher Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by FHI 360.

Participants who earn 70% or higher will receive a digital badge and certificate as a mark of completion.

FREE online course about "Critical Thinking", Feb. 19, 2018

This FREE 5-week course is a great chance for EFL teachers to know more about critical thinking; what it means, how to design critical thinking lessons, and how to evaluate students’ progress in this area. Teachers will spend much time analyzing numerous examples of related activities and lesson plans preparing them to create and share their own with others to get feedback.

I totally disagree with this proverb. If I do not have something, it is me who truly feels how much I need it. I do not talk about feelings only, but knowledge and skills as well. As a teacher, I am not always good at teaching all areas of English language. When I recognize my disability or lack, I work hard to improve that and prove to myself that I can do it. 

That's why you should look inside yourself from time to time to talk to the self and listen to your inner voice.

It is not the degree of education you have got that matters, but your passion and desire for lifelong learning and updating your knowledge regularly. As a result of the rapid changes in our life maybe because of the technology revolution, we must equip ourselves with many skills that are urgent in the 21st century. I know you are so busy and have no enough time to spend in a face-to-face training for example. Actually, I have the same problem. As a teacher, I have to upgrade my ways of teaching every year under the pressure of my limited time.
