Rather than shouting over your class hoping they might stop talking, use one or more of the attention-getters.

I will provide you with some examples of attention-getters that can help you to manage your class and grab students' attention when switching from an activity to another.

1. Clap in a pattern, for example, clap slowly twice and fast 3 times. Students repeat the same pattern.
2. Raise your hand and stand still until students are quiet.
3. Count down ... 3, 2, 1.
4. Ask students to stand up and sit down.
5. Turn the lights off.
6. Use one of the ๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ-๐š๐ง๐-๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž ideas in the poster attached in the post.

๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:
Which ๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ-๐š๐ง๐-๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž ideas do you like the most? Do you have any other attention-getters to share with us?
