Ghost: A New Blogging Platform is JUST Born

I have just received an e-mail that the new Ghost blogging platform is ready to the public. Ghost is a free platform dedicated to one thing: Publishing. It's beautifully designed, completely customizable and completely Open Source. Ghost allows you to write and publish your own blog, giving you the tools to make it easy and even fun to do. It's simple, elegant, and designed so that you can spend less time messing with making your blog work - and more time blogging. There are a lot of features of Ghost that can make it the future of blogging:

It seems cool! This platform allows you to customise your blogs to create your own designs with the functions that you need. Putting all things together is another feature that will make the blogging experience easy and enjoyable to students. However, the first version needs a hosting platform to host blogs. You can download the software and choose to make it private on your laptop or public on a public server. The Ghost team is working on a world-class hosted platform that allows you to set up new Ghost blogs in just a couple of clicks.

Now, I'm using  PrimaryBlogger that adopts WordPress.Org. This platform allows teachers to add their touches by editing the CSS file. It offers a lot of free widgets that help them to add more functions and life to their blogs. There are also a lot of free themes that students can choose from. The only drawback is the normal storage of 250 MB for the free version. However, teachers can upgrade for more space. It is worth a try!

However, if Ghost offers its hosted version, I will try it for sure. It just needs some time to find its way among other blogging platforms.
