I am participating in one of the #RELO OPEN courses and we have utilized this technique to give feedback to each other as learners.
You can use it with your students in writing and speaking activities. After preparing their written pieces and giving oral presentations, students use this format to give feedback.
PQP stands for (Praise, Question, Polish).
𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞:
Tell students at least one thing you liked about their writing or oral presentations.
Ask students a question about something you found curious, confusing or unclear in their writing or oral presentations.
𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡:
Give students one suggestion or more for polishing or making their written pieces or oral presentations even better.
In brief, PQP format can be used to review many areas, e.g., writing, speaking, collaborative projects, teachers' observation, etc.
What do you think? Is it possible to apply it with your students? If not, why?
